Hey, so I'm Tom. I'm a fully qualified nutritionist & personal trainer at Virgin Active in Salford Quays. I've lived for training for about 10 years now, and probably about 6 years ago I started finding myself training and helping more and more people, so naturally becoming a personal trainer was for me!
I love bodybuilding, HIIT style training and I'm a downright nerd when it comes to nutrition (but who doesn't love food, right?). Don't let that worry you if you don't fancy becoming a bodybuilder, I've still got you! This lifestyle just helps me with my passion and discipline in life. I'd never take on a client just for the sake of extra cash in my pocket, I'm not about that. I got into this industry to truly help people that I know I can.
So, how can somebody who likes bodybuilding help your average gym goer? Let's think about it, bodybuilding is intense, there's a lot of specific types of training ultimately for lean muscle gains and lots of nutrition & cardio involved to get body fat down as low as possible, along with plenty of different forms of fitness for mobility and general wellbeing. With small tweaks of these skills I can make anybody's fitness, weight loss or lean muscle building goals a reality, effectively!
