How To Take Your Training To The Next Level

Understanding newbie gains don't last forever

It's extremely important that you understand the first 10lbs of muscle gain will be by far the easiest. The biggest hurdle people face, is continuing to grow after this period is over.

It can get hard. Really hard.

This isn't to make you think what's the point - it's just to prepare you and let you know it's completely normal for your gains to start slowing down. If you're still making progress, but the weight isn't shifting like it used to, don't stress. You're simply now at a more advanced level, it's a good thing!

When you first start out it's compeltely realistic to gain 1lb a week, every week - of pure muscle. At my stage? I'm lucky to gain 1lb a month. My actual goal is 0.5lb per month.

Increasing Workout Volume

Now to continue growing, naturally you're going to have to continue to progress. However, you can't just focus on getting stronger forever - otherwise i'd have superhuman strength 11 years later.

At some point you will have to increase your volume, training frequency & quality of training if you want to get to that next level.

Adapting Your Nutrition As You Go

Just like with your training, your nutrition should be continuously evolving too. You're bigger now - that means you're no longer feeding your skinny self - you're now feeding a bigger you, so guess what.. More food!

Setting Realistic Goals

Setting realistic goals is vital to your success. This is the only way we can monitor how your training & nutrition is going. If you're not getting closer to reaching your goals, something needs to change!

If your goals aren't realistic (think becoming the next arnie) you're going to become demotivated and eventually give up

Reducing Outside Negatives & Making Sacrifices (Smoking, Drinking Etc.)

To get to that next level of physique, you're going to have to make some sacrifices. The amount truly depends on the level of physique you want. But if you think you can be big & shredded year round & still go out getting wasted every weekend - you're going to have a really hard time

Hiring A Coach

There is only so far you can go without getting help. You should never think you can do it all alone - although, yes maybe it's possible but it'll take you a hell of a lot longer (if you get there at all)

Lets have a think about all those profesional athletes getting paid millions each year - do you think they don't have a coach? of course they do.

Somebody you can learn from & point you in the right direction is priceless if you're serious about getting your dream physique.
